Tasty, friendly and fast, with really fresh flour tortillas. They also sell an awesome array of hot sauces.

The food here is delicious, very tasty and the staff is helpful and courteous. I'm usually coming from San Mateo and it's well worth the drive.

This is our go-to Mexican restaurant; we eat there or get takeout about once a week. It’s more of a taqueria than a sit-down restaurant (order at the counter, kitchen is right behind the counter, no wait staff). The food is great and the burritos are big enough that you’re full, but not too stuffed after finishing one. The tortilla soup is good and the variety of burritos is larger than usual.

Tasty quick Mexican joint. Mainly burritos and tacos. Order at the front and they bring food to your table. It could stand to have a liquor licence but it seems like most customers order to go. I was presently surprised.

Great food and staff, except a young girl cashier (Jennifer I think) who is Inexperience to customer service. If you want return customers, especially ones who come all the time, she should be nicer. It’s all about good customer service.to keep people coming back.

By far the best Mexican restaurant on the peninsula. If you go here you have to get the surf & turf burrito.

Great place to get a good borrito

I had the Whitefish Platter with black beans and rice. The fish was cooked perfectly and the salsa on top was fresh with a mild heat. So good and I'm looking forward to trying everything else on the menu.

A bit hit-and-miss. I liked the shrimp and fish Coyote Tacos. But the steak Southwestern Taco was bland, and the chips tasted like they'd been fried in stale oil.

It's okay. I've tried this place many times as it's the literal closest burrito. It's always meh. I've had three different types of burrito and they all kinda taste the same. Last visit I ordered chips and guac.. the guac is like that super overly smooth type. It's fine but not my kind of guac. My husband had one of the peanut butter burritos. He's was like... well its def peanut butter flavored.. but not much else. I prob won't eat here again.

I got a supper beef burrito , with almost no meet, and the little square of meets we’re too salty !!!!

This is our go to restaurant for a quick Mexican lunch/dinner.The nachos with steak are a family favorite. We order their white fish plate often. It is very light. They make a great Cobb salad in a wrap, which is fabulous. Their burritos are yummy too.Prices are decent and the kitchen team is helpful.We don’t always get what we order. Better check what you got before you leave the place with your takeouts...

An amazing and very reasonably priced Mexican restaurant. Their lime steak burrito and nachos are incredible. There are also many other options from quesadillas to fajitas and several vegetarian options as well. Not to mention they have some very good tortilla chips. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with its colorful walls and nice outdoor seating area. On top of this, all the employees are very friendly.

This place is good, I usually get the coyote burrito. It's not a traditional burrito but it's a good American version. I spend over $40 at times here and sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get extra chips. Other than that this place is great!

Good Mexican spot with a decent variety of options

i LOVE this place! i live in the east bay and whenever i’m in the area i visit sometimes multiple times during my stay. my issue: today i spent $33+ on three burritos and was given a half of a bag of tortilla chips. i understand this is an added bonus to the meal; however, when i asked for additional chips to accompany THREE burritos, i was told no, that i needed to actually purchase more chips as the manager would have an issue with giving more chips. i find this to be a little absurd, as chips would come with each burrito had i purchased them separately. i was advised to call the manager to speak to him/her about the policy. the employee acted if i was incompetent and incapable of purchasing chips. the actions of the employee was a turn off to wanting to go back to the restaurant. *** would’ve emailed the manager directly vs seeming to complain about something as silly as chips; however no email address was available online***

Some items are better than others, but that's subjective. Variety is also pretty good, and they make an excellent horchata.

It was delicious food. I came when it was slow but the service was really fast in 5 minutes and it was good. The shrimp quesadilla was good and the shrimp was nice sized.

I have been a big fan of their Ahi Burrito for long time.

Gristle-free meat, delicious chips (my favorite ever), and really spicy hot sauce makes me happy! FYI, no refried beans here but I love black beans. Their shrimp is tasty and they have a few unique burrito flavors.

THE BEST veggie burritos in the Bay Area. I love this place.

I’ve always been a fan of their food.But when I went recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the chef wasn’t wearing a mask. That’s unbelievable and an insult to the health of our community.Another customer in the restaurant also wasn’t wearing a mask, and the restaurant didn’t tell her to wait outside or anything.These are unacceptable and illegal health violations during this pandemic. As someone who’s gone to Coyote’s for years, I feel insulted by this blatant lack of respect for the health of their customers and the public. Might never come back again.

They didn’t give us cutlery to go which made it really hard to eat my enchiladas. This place was fine nothing like majorly wrong with it. The guy who works was a little brusque but not worse than average for California. The food was average.

This quaint cafe has a really wonderful air to it~ with wonderful food and great service, you are able to enjoy a wonderful meal surrounded by great people. Highly recommended!
